Salt Spring Island Fire / Rescue Election News

The results are in and with only 174 votes cast we have re elected the same three trustees.  Over this term the board will have to make the decision to go ahead with the new 2-4milion dollar Salt Spring  fire hall.  I really do not think the general public on Salt Spring is following this story and will react after that fact.  It will be interesting to see how this plays out.  Will try to keep … [Read more...]

Crofton BC real estate investment

1000km Walking Challenge

The one big negative to being a salt spring real estate agent is that half my time is spent in the car, in the coffee shops, on the phone or on line.  I have found over the last few years my pants have been been shrinking.  So to counter the bulge in 2012 I have started to seriously walk every day. Homeowners Protection Office Question Is a home on the MLS® an Invitation to treat or offer for sale?

On Monday 5 March 2012 I received a stern call from the Homeowners Protection office demanding I pull one of my listing off the MLS®. She said I was breaking the law and had to comply with the law asap.
